Was a little worried that  I ’d start to feel cramped on the street triple, or that the lack of windscreen would become tiring. Nope! This thing eats up the miles like it’s nothing. Got another 450 or so tomorrow then a 700 mile day after the weekend.

That’s a good looking bike - Where you headed?  I’ve been itching to take a trip on my bike this year, but haven’t been able to do more than day rides on it.

The matte grey photographs great! However I’d probably have done gloss white if choosing again, scratches on matte cars are forever

Have some family stuff to do in  California, so riding down the PCH. Ended today near the redwoods.

It wasn’t looking like I was going to get any longer rides in either, so I decided to ride down instead of driving or flying.

Day 1 was great, only regret was that it’s a little chilly at the coast and I wish I’d brought  another layer. The triple is getting waaay better fuel economy than the vtx at a quicker pace too.

Just stop at a Walmart or something and pick a layer up.

One third the weight (approximately!) , one third the engine size, an extra gear, and modern fueling can definitely have that affect!
